Client Services Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:
Full-time, benefited position with Unity to Serve International, a nonprofit organization based in California committed to empowering underserved communities through education, leadership development, and humanitarian support. The Client Services Coordinator is a key member of the Programs Department and is responsible for coordinating direct services, supporting case management, and assisting in program delivery for immigrant, refugee, and low-income individuals and families.
The Client Services Coordinator works under the supervision of the Program Officer and supports the organization’s mission to promote dignity, self-sufficiency, and opportunity. This position involves working directly with clients, community partners, and internal teams to ensure timely, effective, and culturally responsive service delivery.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct client intake assessments and maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
- Support clients in accessing essential services including housing referrals, employment support, legal aid, public benefits, and healthcare navigation.
- Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate case management and follow-up services.
- Coordinate workshops and community outreach events related to education, legal rights, job readiness, and health.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners, government agencies, and service providers.
- Assist in data collection, reporting, and evaluation of program outcomes.
- Support program documentation including service logs, case notes, and monthly reports.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous program improvement efforts.
- Respond to urgent client needs and help resolve service delivery challenges.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Officer or Executive Director.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in case management, client support, or related human services roles.
- Strong knowledge of immigrant and refugee services, public benefit programs, and local community resources.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multilingual environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management platforms.
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred (especially Dari, Pashto, Spanish, Arabic, or Farsi).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Occasional local travel required.
COMPENSATION:
$55,000 – $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

LOCATION:
Unity to Serve International – Based in California. Primarily in-person with occasional flexibility depending on program needs.
