    Unity to Serve International is a nonprofit organization based in the Bay Area, dedicated to empowering Afghan refugee and immigrant families—especially women—through education, job training, mentorship, and community support.
  1. Who do you serve?
    We primarily support Afghan and other immigrant women and families who have resettled in California. Our focus is on those facing barriers like limited English proficiency, unfamiliarity with U.S. systems, and a lack of economic opportunity.

    We provide:

  • English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
  • Digital literacy and basic computer skills

    We are headquartered in Concord, California and work throughout the Bay Area. We also remain connected to our legacy in Afghanistan, where our founder previously led women’s empowerment initiatives.

    We are supported by donations from individuals, grants from foundations, and partnerships with local organizations. All contributions directly support program delivery and community impact.
