Unity to Serve International supports refugees and immigrant families as they arrive in the U.S., helping them build a strong foundation for a successful life. Through guidance on housing, employment, English language learning, digital literacy, health access, and community orientation, we empower newcomers to integrate, thrive, and achieve self-sufficiency in their new communities.
Our services include:
- Initial Case Management: Personalized coaching and planning to help families navigate their first days and weeks, including public benefits, school enrollment, Social Security, and other essential services.
- Housing & Reception: Assistance finding and furnishing housing, arranging move-in logistics, and establishing stable, long-term accommodations.
- Financial Assistance: Immediate support for rent, utilities, childcare, and other essential expenses during the early months.
- Cultural & Community Orientation: Guidance on U.S. systems, public services, transportation, and community integration.
- Health Services: Help enrolling in healthcare programs and accessing physical and mental health care.
- Employment & Economic Support: Job readiness, skills development, financial literacy, and connection to ESL and job placement opportunities.
- Legal & Immigration Support: Referral to partner agencies for assistance with legal status, adjustment of status, citizenship, and other immigration-related services.
- Virtual R&P Support: Remote guidance for families in areas without nearby offices, including benefit applications, school enrollment, and job readiness support.
- Long-Term / Intensive Support: Extended case management for families with ongoing needs, supporting financial stability, employment, and full integration.
Through these programs, we empower newcomers to thrive, build self-sufficiency, and create a strong foundation for success in their new communities.
